As we declared in our Fall Fashion Preview,
2013’s fashion trends have come full circle and are back to backpacks. Many
high-end designers have included this accessory in their men’s lines for the
season, and everyone from NBA all-stars
to paparazzi-swarmed A-listers have been seen lugging these things around,
putting as much thought into it as you used to put into which superhero you’d
sport for the remainder of your school year.
While there are a lot of
designs gunning for the spotlight, our eyes have wandered to leather craftsman Bill Amberg’s
gorgeous Rucksack. Amberg is known for his meticulous design and artistry and
has been called on by many major companies to develop limited-edition runs of
their products, most recently the BlackBerry Bold 9780 holster shown below, so
it comes as no surprise that he’s created the perfect rugged backpack.
This all-leather bag
embodies simplicity with its tumbled cowhide, 100 percent cotton lining and solid brass fittings. Coming in three colors, tan, brown and black, it’s ideal
