The clothes aren’t the
only things we check out when attending a fashion show, and if they makeup and
hair weren’t important, they wouldn’t call it a show! Makeup artist Val
Garland, tells us, “The look here today is effortlessly chic. It’s crisp,
beautiful, real makeup. It’s all about perfect skin. I want the texture of the
skin to feel a little bit peachy and finished, polished.” To get this look, Val
Garland uses a Marc Jacobs foundation to get a beautiful veil.

The first thing that comes
to mind when seeing this collection is, “cool girls on the block.” Jennifer
Lopez would be proud! This collection was inspired by the street, specifically
the cool sneakers seen everywhere right now. Creative Director Bill Gaytten
wanted to take that cool "grooviness of the sneakers up to the body,"
as he stated before his show. This idea was reinterpreted on the clothing in
the form of sporty, tech-driven looks in bright pop colors. Short dresses with
asymmetrical hems and skinny crop pants came in shades of green and neon
orange. Even the perforated looks common to sneakers made their appearance on
the clothes in the form of 3D laser-cut flowers.
