- The Latest Type of Fashion Show
This week FashionTv bring us a new way of viewing a fashion show to the industry’s top models pulling the cashmere wool over our heads. For the 2014 Pirelli calendar, which is also the 50th anniversary edition, top models Miranda Kerr, Karolina Kurkova, Alek Wek, Isabeli Fontana, Helena Christensen frolicked on the beach posing for Pirelli photographers. For months, the models remained tightlipped when the buzz around town was that they would be featured in the 2014 Pirelli calendar. Little did the rest of us know that they in fact were not actually appearing the 2014 calendar. In an era when almost nothing is secret, these models prove they can keep their mouths shut! I wonder other juicy gossip is being hidden! From one beach for the Pirelli shoot to two others, Australia and Miami Beach, the fashion industry from coast to coast has been buzzing with new shows and interesting ideas. Let's check it out.

3.) Pirelli Calendar 50th
Anniversary Press Shoot
When we captured top
models posing for the Pirelli calendar photographers, we were sure these were
some of the faces (and bodies) who would appear in the 2014 50th anniversary
edition. But, in a surprise turn of events, when the official 2014 calendar was
released, none of the top models we captured posing for the cameras that
afternoon made it into the edition. However, we don’t totally mind cause we
still have the awesome footage.

5.) Dsquared2
Spring/Summer 2014: Designer at Work
Dan and Dean Caten know
how to make work fun, so whenever we get a chance to catch up with the
powerhouse duo, we take it! They tell us the inspiration that led to their
Spring/Summer 2014 collection, and we love it! They tell us it’s about a
woman/women in the late 1950s who is on a Polynesian paradise vacation. The sun
is going down and the women meet up at the bar and talk about their outfits. Sounds
like my kind of vacay!
